The fireworks light up the sky. Flags wave. We talk a lot about freedom, about independence, in July. But here’s a thought worth brewing on.


What does independence really look like in the choices we make every day?


Not the dramatic, one-time gestures. The small, intentional ones. Like where we buy our coffee. Like whether we repair something or toss it away. Like choosing people over algorithms. Local over faceless. Craft over convenience.
